The support staff at Mattawan Animal Hospital wear many
hats ranging from front desk receptionist to veterinary
assistant/technician. We are here to serve our
doctors, clients and patients with the utmost care and
integrity. Our resolve is to see each and every
one of our companion animal friends to live a happy and
healthy life.

Cathy
and Patches
Cathy enjoys the satisfaction of knowing that the veterinarians and staff of Mattawan Animal Hospital are
helping care for, treat and prevent medical issues.
She finds the human-pet bond truly amazing! Her
cat, Patches, has been a friend for over 17 years.
Working at MAH over many years - beginning as a
teenager, through her college years and up to today -
has demonstrated her love for the job. She cannot
imagine working anywhere else! As office manager,
she appreciates how every individual staff member works
together to create an energetic, fun and creative team
along with a "family" feel. Enjoys scrapbooking and reading.
Kristen,
Butterfly,
Fauna, and Bailey
Kristen can
never picture her life working
outside of the veterinary medicine field! Having a
part in the care and nursing of MAH's patients brings an
indescribable joy to her. With over eight years
experience, pocket pets and elderly companion animals
hold a special place in her heart. With her
"four-legged children" and over thirty year old three-toed
box turtle, Fred, and several pet rats over the years,
she enjoys her own private little zoo at home. Enjoys gardening, reading, teaching tricks to her
pet rats and making people laugh. Always the Chicago
Cubs Fan!!
Becky
and Wrigley
Becky has over nine years experience under her belt in
many facets of the veterinary medicine field. Her pets,
Roscoe, Lilly, Sophie, Hannah, along with two geckos and
twelve fish keep her very busy! She always looks
forward to working with all the "furry, huggable,
lovable" animals. She finds it very rewarding to
help sick animals become well again. Interacting
with MAH's many
wonderful clients make her day! Enjoys scrapbooking, bowling
with her husband, paintball and
playing with her children.
 Mike,
George and Buster
Mike works at both Mattawan Animal Hospital and Mattawan
Pet Supplies. Whether he is at MAH or MPS, he loves
coming to work every day because he is helping owners
and their pets in any way possible - He'd have it no
other way. Mike wants to learn all he can and is
planning on going back to school to study wildlife
biology. At home, the big dog Buster, and the cat,
George, are always with him. Enjoys watching and
coaching football, camping, fishing, playing golf, and
hanging out with his family. Go Detroit Lions!!
Lisa
and Kitty
Lisa graduated from
Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in
Animal Science. At
home, Lisa has three cats, one dog, four rabbits, one
frog and two fish! Lisa likes working at Mattawan
Animal Hospital because she enjoys the interaction with
the animals and thinks the staff is friendly.
Enjoys traveling and hanging out with family and
friends.
Ashleigh
and
Harlow
Ashleigh attended KVCC and has worked in the
healthcare field for over eight years!
Recently, she has purchased her first home
and is enjoying all that comes with home
ownership. Bentley is her newest
family member, whom she has raised since he
was six days old! Working at MAH
brings her much joy - the staff is warm,
caring and willing to share their knowledge.
She is looking forward to furthering her
career in the animal health field and, as
always,
loving the interaction she has with everyone's pets.
Enjoys traveling, reading and scrapbooking.

Stephanie
graduated from
Baker College
with a degree as
a Veterinary
Technician. She
has always had
an interest in
veterinary
medicine growing
up and is
excited to be
starting her
career at an
animal hospital
that is truly
devoted to all
its patients and
staff. She loves
coming to work
and being able
to educate
owner’s on how
to help their
sick animals get
well and helping
with new puppy
and kitten
visits! Her
dogs Bella and
Abbie are her
companions.

Allison
and
Bella
Allie is a
student at Mattawan High School. She began
volunteering at Mattawan Animal Hospital in
the fall of 2009, and is now thrilled to be
working there! At home Allie has two cats,
Boo and Miracle, and two dogs, Ellie and
Bella Rose. She also fosters dogs for
Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. Between all the
pets, her house occasionally turns into a
three-ringed circus, but she wouldn't want
to change a thing! Because of her love for
working with animals, she plans to pursue
further education in veterinary medicine. Enjoys
traveling, taking her dogs for walks,
spending time with friends and family and
watching the Red Wings.
Morgan
Morgan
enjoys interacting with all of the pets that
come to Mattawan Animal Hospital. She
really loves her job and is looking forward
to furthering her career and knowledge in
veterinary medicine.
Enjoys reading, coaching cheerleading,
volunteering with youth groups and spending
time with her children.
